In this experiential mindful-eating journey, you will have the opportunity to explore your relationship to eating and food. Your increased awareness and mindfulness will help foster balance, choice, wisdom and acceptance, and ultimately transform your relationship with food and the quality of your life.
In class 8 of 10 of this experiential online mindful eating workshop we will explore the process we call “craving” which is a “bundle” made up of thoughts, emotions, physical sensations in the body, and behaviors.
When our hearts are hungry, we may find ourselves craving something to fill or soothe the empty feeling. Often we turn to foods that momentarily alter the unwanted feelings we are experiencing. Craving feels all-consuming, as though we have no choice and are driven to eat in such a way that we end up feeling guilty and ashamed that we have no willpower, which may trigger more eating.
