Taking the First Step
Reaching out can often be the hardest part when looking for support or considering making a change. Once you contact me, we willl schedule a 15-minute, no-fee phone consultation, and together we will decide if working together would be a good fit.
Individual sessions typically run 50 minutes. Although the first session may be 60-75 minutes in order to gather history, answer questions, and figure out goals for working together. The length of time in treatment can vary, depending on your goals, motivation, and needs.
Payment is due at the beginning of each session. I accept cash, checks and most major credit cards.
My rates are comparable to other Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists in the area. Please contact me to inquire.
Currently I am not on any insurance panels, but I am able to provide you with information that can be submitted to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
24-Hour Cancellation Policy
I maintain a 24-hour cancellation/rescheduling fee policy. You will be responsible for the entire session fee if cancellation/rescheduling is within 24 hours of your appointment time.
Telephone Availability and Emergencies
I respond to calls within 24 hours during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Pacific). In case of emergencies, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you are not in immediate danger but need to speak to someone urgently, please contact the 24–Hour Crisis Hotline (800) 273-TALK(8255) or (650) 579-0350.
